Greetings from Portugal,
I'm an avid fan of your projects nd hope you never tire of doing them. I found that using cardstock as a shim is great but it gets all squished and ruined and you end up throwing it out after. If you put the shim under the bottom acrilic pad and not the on the top one it doesn't get altered and wll still add that little extra to cut all the way through.
the sandwich will then be shim, bottom cutting pad, die and top cutting pad.
Great video. I've not yet cut any fabric on my Big Shot, but feel inspired to now. Your 'Rag Quilt Purse' looks fabulous - do you have a tutorial for it at all? Thanks for sharing all your techniques and ideas.
