Angie,

I have a suggestion for you regarding your large quilting ruler. I had the same problem with mine moving around on top of the fabric. I flipped it over and applied little blops of E6000 glue, one in each corner and a few in the middle (away from the corners a little and on the edges of the middle if that makes sense). This wonderful craft glue is self leveling so it will spread and flatten out as it dries, but is rubbery after it dries (keeping in mind that it spreads when you apply it). It keeps the ruler from moving when you use it. I use mine with my rotary cutter on fabrics or paper and it works great! I would like to get a handle for mine like yours. Hope this helps.
